Very nice and unique 1966 R60/2  

This bike was originally sold in Germany and was bought over there by a US service member on deployment at the time. The bike was enjoyed for many years and toured over Europe before being sold by the former owner upon returning stateside. The bike has a very rare "sport" front fender as well as original side cases.

The bike lived in Germany most it's life and received normal serving and at one point went through a restoration. The bike was bought back by the previous owner and imported to the US a  few years ago. More work was commissioned on the bike at that time by us and eventually sold to MAX BMW in the process. 

While the bike was in our possession we performed the following service work:

- New battery

- Installed new fuel lines 

- New albert mirrors installed

- New throttle cables

- Check and adjust steering bearings

- Performed top end reseal (all new cylinder base, head, and valve cover gaskets)

- New push rod tube seals installed

- Rebuilt carbs with new gasket set

This is a beautiful well running /2 that turns heads anywhere it goes!
