This is not just another R100S

This 78 R100S was the CC products showcase motorcycle.   It came from an extensive collection that housed every BMW motorcycles from 1923 to 1976...a couple choices bikes post '76 made the collection, this being one of them.  

The second we pulled it off the truck, into the shop - the first comment was "that is the cc products bike from the rallies"   With the MOA National coming back to VT this year, the rallies are definitely on everyone's minds.  

With the big bore kit, they called it the 1050R.   

Fun to have at the shop and available for the next custodian of this motorcycle.   We always kept our CC product catalog close by...fun to have this bike available to the public again

If looking to put this back on the road, would be recommended to go through the motorcycle since it has been on display for the past couple decades

(and yes that is snow in April!)
